not another depression + food for thought

I'm trying to spread some positive thoughts today.. For a change.

This struck to me.. "If one thinks that someone is too good for them, one does simply not know their own worth" .

It definitely gives some food for thought and maybe it's true? I mean, usually there's more to people than what meets the eye but could personality really be enough to win someone over? Looks isn't everything but it is what turns you on. I've heard that when you fall for someone because of their personality, everything about them becomes beautiful, and I guess that's true. It's like you're wearing these love glasses and not really seeing peoples flaws.On the other hand if you only picked you partners based on looks, you would never be satisfied. There would always be that person who was more beautiful. Well, at least in your eyes.
